REASONS
For
many people, starting their own business means:
- not
having to depend on insufficient job offers and the goodwill
of employers
- taking
advantage of market opportunities and being able to put
new ideas into practice
-
being responsible themselves for the amount of income they
earn
-
gaining acceptance and recognition from their families and
friends.
It
is particularly during the phase of preparing for return that
these aspects are dealt with to a great extent and often seem
more important than actually defining a business concept.
However
the reverse side of self-employment should not be forgotten
during preparatory periods. Intensive personal commitment
and a lot of time are constantly demanded of the individual
while there is always a financial risk.
In
spite of all the efforts made in preparing to return, it can
be seen time and again that the reality in the countries of
origin holds new and unpredictable challenges in store, making
prompt guidance and support necessary. All experiences have
ultimately shown that business starters cannot be saved from
jumping in at the deep end and then learning not to sink.
